Growing up in Soweto, Mxolisi Sithole developed an active involvement and love for the arts in his school years.
He was a member of Thabisong Youth Club, a non-profit youth organization which has nurtured many performing artists.
With Thabisong, he was able to tour nationally and internationally a a performer.
He was also a member of Umoja, a well-known South African dance musical which has been touring the world for many years.
