Choir Candids: Sipokazi and Linda’s Wedding

Another special treat for Choir fans (long overdue–I’ve been meaning to add these for a few months now):

Founding choir members Sipokazi Nxumalo and Linda Nxumalo were married on January 10, 2009 in a beautiful ceremony in SK’s hometown of Port Elizabeth.

In attendance from the Choir were Sipho (Linda’s best man), Zanele, Mandla, David and Bev.

SK has been gracious enough to share some photos from their big day:

Wedding Tidbits:

  • The weather was great on the blessed day.
  • They rode in Cadillacs.
  • The wedding colours were: a) red and gold, symbolizing passion, love and strength; b) gold and white, for the prayer of God’s glory and favour and richness in their marriage.
  • The theme was strawberries and cream; which holds special significance for the couple.  Their cake was 5 layers with strawberry icing.

To quote SK:

“Just being in the Choir, working with this man; not knowing he was my soul mate, my better half, my future, my portion from GOD was right under my nose.  I’ve received too much by being in this Choir and consider myself blessed.  And like how we treasure the Choir so, will we treasure this marriage so.  Now I share all these amazing journeys with him together around the world.  It’s amazing Elaine, amazing!”

The Happy Couple
